This month, Ontario Power Generation (OPG) commissioned the first successfully reversible polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) thrust bearing in North America at the 175-MW Sir Adam Beck Pump Storage Generating Station, on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, according to OPG officials.
