Pakistan seeks water, power planning consultants


Pakistan's Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites expressions of interest from consultants to upgrade tools, water resources databases, and management systems for its water sector. Responses are due February 28, 2010.

Under the same overall program, the Water Sector Capacity Building and Advisory Services Project, Pakistan recruited consultants in December 2009 to advise on structuring and financing hydroelectric projects and to prepare feasibility studies of small dams. (HydroWorld 12/8/09)

In the current solicitation, WAPDA seeks consultants to update existing tools, databases, models and management systems and to develop additional such tools for water and power planning and operation.
