Exhibition space still available for HydroVision 2010

HydroVision International 2010 is nine months away, but 50 percent of the exhibit hall is already booked as vendors secure a place at the hydropower industry’s biggest conference and trade show.

What’s more, 19 companies have agreed to sponsor the four-day event, including overall event sponsors and sponsors of specific activities. HydroVision, scheduled for July 27-30, 2010, will be held at the Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.

To become a sponsor or exhibitor, call PennWell Corp. at (918) 832-9360 or +44 (0) 1992 656 665.

In addition, the call for papers remains open until Oct. 30. To submit your abstract online, go to www.hydroevent.com and click the big button on the home page.

Boost your professional profile and recognition from more than 2,500 hydropower professionals worldwide by submitting an abstract in any of these five categories: Equipment and Technology; Market Trends and Strategies; Water Management and Movement; Project Management and Operations; and Environmental/Social.

Abstracts should contain about 200 to 400 words. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference Technical Committee. If accepted, authors will be invited to submit a paper by April 30, 2010, for inclusion in the official conference publication (in CD-ROM format) that will be distributed to all conference delegates.

Abstracts can be submitted by email as a Word document attachment to hvconference@pennwell.com. Papers also can be submitted on a CD-ROM and mailed to:
