Corps names contractor for dam and levee safety program development


ST. LOUIS, Mo. 1/10/12 (PennWell) -- Hasslet & Willis Company LLC has won an $854,688 contract to provide support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' National Flood Risk Management Program.

The tender was issued by the Corps' St. Louis District in May 2011 and stipulates that Hasslet & Willis help improve the "effectiveness, efficiency and coordination among USACE flood risk related programs."

The Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm will also develop communication, outreach and training materials.
