Event organizers have issued a call for papers for Renewable Energy World North America Conference & Expo Feb. 23-25, 2010, in Austin, Texas. Abstracts are due by Aug. 7, 2009.
REWNA 2010, which is owned and produced by PennWell, promises a worldwide audience for papers, panel discussions, and presentations on technology, markets, business strategies, and policy. Technologies include hydro, ocean, wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, bio-power, bio-fuels, hydrogen, and other sectors.

Topics of interest for conference papers include, but are not limited to: market trends and barriers; project development and financing; technologies; energy storage; renewables portfolio standards; green power programs and marketing; renewables financing; federal, state, and local incentives; renewables credits and certificates; interconnection and integration issues; permitting; national security; and international opportunities.
