MUSOMA, Tanzania 1/5/12 (PennWell) -- TAHAL Consulting Engineers Ltd. and Bhundia Associates have been awarded a contract to perform assessments as part of Tanzania's Mara River Basin Project.
Bids for the US$728,840 contract were called for in May 2011 and stipulate that the consultants review two small multi-purpose dams in the Mara River Basin.
The solicitation sought consultants to undertake detailed environmental and social assessments and preparation of environmental and social management plans and resettlement action plans for the two projects.
