MWH awarded contract to modernize the 314-MW Keys Generating Plant


BROOMFIELD, Colo. 9/28/11 (PennWell) - The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation awarded MWH a $25 million multi-year contract to modernize the 314 MW John W. Keys Pump Generating Plant in Washington.

As part of the contract, MWH will improve the availability and reliability of the Keys’ pump and pump-generating units, along with engineering, technical and project management and technical support services for the supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) project at the plant.

The contract is for one year with four sequential option years. The plant is owned by the Grand Coulee Power Office.
