Stover launches renewable energy consulting practice

Mark Stover

Mark R. Stover, former vice president of corporate affairs with Hydro Green Energy, has left the company and opened a renewable energy consulting practice.

As principal of verde watts consulting, Stover will focus on public affairs, regulatory, project and business development services for companies engaged in the U.S. renewable energy industry, with a special focus on hydropower.

He also will serve as a consultant for Hydro Green Energy, which is a developer of low-head hydropower projects at non-powered dams in the U.S. The company is based in Houston, Texas.

Stover joined Hydro Green Energy in 2008. Before that, he worked for Good Company Associates and directed legislative affairs for the National Hydropower Association.
