Founded in 2001, Vortex Hydro offers auxiliary mechanical systems, hydraulic power units, speed governor upgrades, water filtration systems, lube oil systems and plant piping design in addition to rehabilitation, upgrade and modernization services.

"We are very excited about the addition of Vortex Hydro into the larger Voith family," Voith Hydro Canada President and CEO Denys Turcotte said. "Vorte x Hydro will complement our existing after-market business in Canada and the U.S., and expand Voith's products to new and future customers."
