EA Engineering, Science, and Technology Inc. has announced the opening of a new office in Ann Arbor.

EA, whose headquarters is in Hunt Valley, Md., is an environmental, compliance, natural resources, and infrastructure engineering and management firm.

The company says the Ann Arbor office will provide services for state and municipal clients, as well as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, and Department of Defense.

"The opening of our new office in Ann Arbor provides us greater accessibility to our clients and project sites throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes region," says EA Chief Operating Officer Michael Battle. "As a vibrant technologic and academic center, Ann Arbor also offers access to an experienced and talented workforce, as well as new potential business partners."

HydroWorld.com reported in April that the company had added several new staff members.
