Hydrohrom s.r.o. has been awarded a contract worth US$527,420 by RenoEnergie a.s. for work at the Czech Republic's Plzen-Hradste small hydropower plant.
As per the contract, Hydrohrom will supply a turbine-generator and ancillary equipment for the project, which will be located near Pilsen on the Uhlava River.
The Plzen-Hradste's anticipated capacity was not specified.
RenoEnergie last solicited bids for the project in May.
Other projects RenoEnergie is advancing work on include 4.2-MW Roudnice, which will get increased flow capacity, a fish ladder and a canoe slalom course.
