Corps awards contract for work at 810-MW Lower Granite hydropower facility

WALLA WALLA, Wash. 6/27/12 (PennWell) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract to G&W Supply of Washington for work at the 810-MW Lower Granite hydroelectric plant.

The contract, worth US$141,422, calls for the supply of two central non-overflow vertical turbine pumps and two navigation lock vertical turbine pumps.

The Corps most recently solicited bids for the work in April.
