PRAGUE, Czech Republic 4/11/12 (PennWell) -- Sdruzení firem MVE Roudnice nad Labem has been awarded a contract worth about US$11 million for work on the Czech Republic's 4.2-MW Roudnice hydroelectric project.
Hydro developer RenoEnergie a.s. last called for bids on the project in December 2011.
As per the contract, Sdruzení firem MVE Roudnice nad Labem will increase the plant's flow capacity to 225 cubic meters per second, construct a canoe slalom course and fabricate a fish ladder.
RenoEnergie awarded a contract to Mavel a.s. for turbines and other mechanical parts in August 2011.
