Pick Electric selected for refurbishment work at Albeni Falls hydropower plant

SEATTLE, Wash. 2/27/12 (PennWell) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract worth US$776,234 to Pick Electric Inc. for work at the 42.6-MW Albeni Falls hydroelectric project in Idaho.

The Corps' Seattle District last solicited bids for the work in September 2011, which includes the replacement of DC boards and breakers.

As per the contract, Pick Electric will demolish and furnish new 115-V AC and 125-V DC panelboards, including conduit, cable tray, wiring, disconnects, transformers, switchboards, enclosures, annunciator panels, chargers and inverters.
