The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids for sampling and abatement of asbestos and lead at 21 dams and hydroelectric projects in Oregon. Bids are due Feb. 24.
The Corps' Portland District plans to award a service contract for sampling and abatement of asbestos and lead at 21 Corps projects: Applegate (proposed 10 MW); 20-MW Big Cliff; Blue River (proposed 14.65 MW); 1,076-MW Bonneville; Cottage Grove; 25-MW Cougar; 100-MW Detroit; 15-MW Dexter; Dorena (proposed 5.2 MW); Elk Creek; Fall Creek; Fern Ridge (proposed 4.335 MW); 40-MW Foster; 80-MW Green Peter; 30-MW Hills Creek; 2,160-MW John Day; 120-MW Lookout Point; 49-MW Lost Creek; 1,780-MW The Dalles; Willow Creek; and 980-MW McNary.
The Corps proposes an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with a base year and four optional years. It is 100 percent set aside for small business.
