Turbine Control is to remove the existing static pilot excitation system for the plant's single generating unit, including asbestos-insulated wiring. The contractor is to modify a rotating direct current exciter and furnish and install a new static pilot excitation system, including power potential transformer, circuit breakers, digital voltage and associated limiters, instrumentation, protection, and control components.
