  • Nile Basin Initiative renews call for head of planning

    The ten-nation Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) has renewed a solicitation for a head of strategic planning and management to lead water resource management in the NBI Secretariat. Applicants must respond by December 15.

    With funding from World Bank agencies, NBI originally recruited for the position in April. (HNN 4/25/08) It said applicants who responded the first time need not resubmit applications.

    NBI seeks a Head, Strategic Planning and Management to lead strategic planning, water policy, and water resource management. Candidates must have post-graduate degrees and ten years of executive-level experience.

    Applicants are invited to send cover letters and resumes by December 15 to Executive Director, Nile Basin Secretariat by e-mail to recruitment@nilebasin.org.
