Austria utility seeks emergency lighting for seven Danube projects

Verbund Austrian Hydro Power AG seeks bids for supply of emergency lighting systems for seven of its hydroelectric projects on the Danube River in Austria. Bids are due December 5.

Verbund seeks design, supply, installation, testing, and start-up of emergency lighting systems in the hydro plants of seven projects: 168-MW Abwinden-Asten, 328-MW Altenworth, 287.4-MW Aschach, 293-MW Greifenstein, 187-MW Melk, 179-MW Ottensheim-Wilhering (HNN 4/11/06), and 210-MW Wallsee-Mitterkirchen. (HNN 2/28/06) The work would be performed from January 2009 to December 2010.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below until October 20. Bids, in German, are due December 5.
